FlyBig Airways on Thursday started day by day flights between Guwahati and Silchar in Assam. The flight was flagged by Assam Tourism Miniuster Jayanta Malla Baruah. A complete of 63 passengers took the flight from Guwahati to Silchar.
That is FlyBig’s second service in Assam. Its first service began on Might 1 within the Guwahati-Dibrugarh-Guwahati sector. The FlyBig flight within the Guwahati-Silchar-Guwahati route will probably be supported by the Assam Tourism Growth Company Restricted (ATDCL).

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma stated in a tweet that “With the bottom fare, these two companies from Guwahati to Dibrugarh and Silchar will tremendously assist the folks of Higher Assam and Barak Valley. We’re dedicated to serving our folks in all doable methods”.
Baruah stated that these companies will improve the regional connectivity within the Northeastern area and will probably be executed in non-Udan routes. “These flights can have a far-reaching impression on the tourism business by enhancing home connectivity”, the minister stated.
The initiative will assist in the all-round progress of the area, Baruah added. These flights will observe a schedule of working at 7.30 am to Silchar from Guwahati and it’ll have a return journey from Silchar at 8.30 am each day.
